Sarah Kravitz

Sarah Kravitz was established in Warsaw in 2015 and moved to the center of London in 2018. The gallery is on Soho Square. It supports artists from emerging talent to the middle of a career, and has built close relationships with gallerists and curators around the world. Through those collaborations it notes exhibitions worth attention, and brings forward artists on the verge of international recognition.

The program spans music, film, contemporary art, and design. The aim is a gallery experience that speaks to a wide, art-led audience.

Where design carries commercial weight

At the center of the site are detailed profiles for each artist the London gallery represents. Michèle Victoria (MuseVision) made those profiles visually engaging, so a visitor can enter the background, the influences, and the body of work.

The design is simple and elegant, built around solo exhibitions and group shows. Those highly visual sections work as a gallery one can visit from anywhere, moving through current, upcoming, and past exhibitions with ease. Immersive content, high-resolution images, and a clear account of each exhibition let the artist’s vision come through. The aim was to close the distance between a physical room and a digital one, and to make a rich program available to a global audience.

A print shop lets a collector buy prints, books, zines, and smaller works directly. The store is a considered edit, with precise descriptions and clear navigation, so a purchase feels as considered as the rest of the site.

Michèle Victoria (MuseVision) led the development. From the plan to the last detail, the site was made to be clear to use and exact to look at. Simplicity and quality in the build are what make the gallery’s new online home distinctive.
