Good News
Good News is a London sneaker brand founded by Ben Tattersall and Nia Jones. Drawing on retro American culture and on baseball, it joins 1970s color with clean lines and updated silhouettes, for a unisex style that feels fresh and already familiar.
The outlook is simple: make contemporary footwear with care, trace every step of the supply chain, and use each collaboration to bring attention to the causes the founders believe in.
Where design carries commercial weight
The difficulty was not dramatic. It was human. A young team with large ideas, entering e-commerce for the first time. They knew what they stood for, and not yet how digital could help them find their people: the early adopters, the curious, those looking for something with integrity.
We did not speak of funnels or metrics. We spoke of people. What they notice first. What makes them stay. Where trust begins. From there we shaped their first fashion e-commerce site: a home built on clarity, color, and ease.
Unisex was not a slogan. It was built into the brand. That guided the structure. Every product shown on both genders. A visual rhythm that felt fresh and quietly nostalgic, echoing the playful fluidity of the sixties and seventies.
Photography was the anchor. Clean, bright, open. A palette that held the retro edge without slipping into pastiche. Those decisions set the tone of the whole site, and they shaped later refinements too, natural changes as the brand matured, the catalog grew, and new stories appeared.
